Featured Practice Areas
Probate
If a will needs to be probated in Texas, it must be filed in a Probate Court within four years of the date of death of the decedent. Probate of a Will or an Administration will be filed in the county of the Decedent’s residence. There are some instances where it may not be necessary to go through full probate. It is advisable to discuss your situation with the attorney to help you choose the most practical option for you.
Wrongful Death
A wrongful death occurs when a person has been killed due to the negligence or wrongful act of another person of company.
We have successfully represented victims of wrongful death in Texas for many years. If your spouse, parent or child has died due to another’s negligence, contact us to discuss the details with us. There are Statutes of Limitations or time limits on these suits, so contact us as soon as possible.
Automobile Accidents
We have successfully represented clients involved in automobile collisions in Texas for many years. It is vital that you seek medical treatment as soon as possible if you are injured. We recommend that you NOT give a statement to the other driver’s insurance company without first consulting with an attorney.
Insurance companies have been more difficult to deal with than ever in recent years. That makes it more important that your claim be handled by an experienced lawyer to make sure that you are treated fairly. Not all cases require that a lawsuit be filed, but the insurance company will not take your claim seriously unless that possibility is kept in front of them.
Truck Collisions
A collision with an eighteen wheeler or other large commercial vehicle can be catastrophic due to the significant weights of these vehicles and their loads. There are many factors involved with truck collisions that will need to be addressed by an experienced injury attorney.
If you have been seriously injured, first seek medical treatment. Then contact our office to discuss your case. Do NOT give a statement to anyone with the trucking company or their insurance carrier. Talk to an attorney first.
